Artists and tattoos are like banks and money. They move together pari passu. it is rare to see a musical artist in Nigeria with no tattoo, the more famous they become the more drawings they inscribed on their bodies.
This days, Tattoos no longer carry the negative connotations like in the past years where any person wearing visible inked tattoos was seen as a bad person or a criminal.
Now artists wear tattoos as a brand, to identify with the international artists and to be accepted in their cycle.
It's even like a piece of art work worthy of display or something to show off. The more tattoo they get on their bodies the more powerful they seemed to look.
But in all this we still have some Nigeria celebrity artists who do not have any tattoos on their bodies. These artists included:
Daniel Oyebanjo, with the stage name D'Banj is one artist in Nigeria who has been seen without a tattoo. He is also know as Koko master who has won many awards for his music collaboration both nationally and internationally.
2. Teni, is an award winning Nigerian Female artist with no tattoos.
Banky W is another big artist cum politician with no visible tattoos.
4. Another big artist with no Tattoos is Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI.
5. DJ Cuppy (Florence Otedola) is a Nigerian DJ and singer with no visible Tattoos despite her wealth and exposure.
