Gbajabiamila
Femi Gbajabiamila, the speaker of the House of Representatives has threatened to arrest governor of the Central Bank Nigeria, Godwin Emefele and other Bank Chiefs if they failed to appear before its committee on Thursday.
The house had set up an ad hoc committee to investigate the scarcity of the new naira at the Deposit Money Bank, also called Commercial Banks, which has increased the tension over the 31 January deadline set by CBN to phase out the old naira note.
