POSA Epe Holds Exco election to Reform School-Officials

The Pobuna Secondary Grammar School Old Students Association Epe, Lagos, on Friday, said that its 2024 election scheduled for Saturday was to elect leaders that would reform the school for greater glory.

The Chairman of the electoral committee, Mr Ebun Ola-Campbell, said that, the association has been pivotal in the development of the school founded Feb. 20, 1970 with focus to re-orientate students to greater heights.

Campbell who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos ahead of the election said that, the election has been keenly contested to produce best hands who would liaise with the school management to achieve the institutions mandate.

It further reports that, the 54-year old school has produced many influential dignitaries in the society, hence its better management was of concern to society.

He said that the association national officers to be elected on Saturday Feb. 3, were expected to proffer solutions to the institution's problems within the resources available and attract interventions of projects from government and donor agencies to keep the place vibrant and conducive for learning..

He named the electoral officers to include Mrs.Victoria Babalola, Mr Johnson Ishaq while Campbell serves as the Chairman.

He said that, winners, would be inaugurated during the school 54 anniversary later in February.

According to him the reunion-like-carnival election will be stress free with old boys restating commitment to steer the school to desired hight.

"Most of the products of the school are AVM Dapo Shomade Rtd, the immediate past First Lady of Lagos State H E Bolanle Ambode, CP Damilola Adegbuyi, Rtd, former CP Oyo State, HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Aladesanyin of Noforija, Lagos State, CP Rivers State Mr Rilwan Olatunji and others," he said.
